When we talk about the 90s, a million different things spring to mind.  We have “Friends” and the tragic death of Kurt Cobain. We have Trolls and Nintendo Gameboys. A time of limited mobile phones and no wifi, but over and above the awesomeness of the decade here is the music it produced. Especially the female music icons who seriously MADE the decade.

Mariah Carey burst to the music scene in the early 1990’s and ensured her place on chart topper lists across the globe with her incredible 5-octave voice. Carey has been described as a versatile performer releasing hit singles from a range of different genres -  ballads to hip hop and dance tracks and number one Xmas songs.

Like most artists who find themselves in the limelight, Carey’s career definitely had it’s ups and downs, but with nostalgic favourites like  “We Belong Together”, “Hero” and “One Sweet Day” (which accompanied most of our first awkward slow dances) t ׊o her name, this diva has certainly made her mark. Carey currently holds a residency at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
